The Meatgrinder Update for The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners now available
When it comes to deep and rewarding VR experiences, few games fit the bill like The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. As a full AAA-quality title, Saints & Sinners packs a 15-hour long story about a post-Apocalyptic New Orleans into an action-RPG package. Simply sometimes, you merely want to release some stress and lob heads off the undead, right? If that's the case, Skydance Interactive has heard your cries and, with the new Meatgrinder Update, has added a brand new Horde-fashion arcade mode called The Trial.
In The Trial, it's your goal to survive as long as possible while taking out hordes of the undead, all of which come in wave after greuling wave to turn y'all into one of them. While the story mode for Saints & Sinners rewards kills with boodle, kills in The Trial reward players with points that are based on skill, with bonus points for decapitations and savage combos. These points can and so exist spent on weapons and supplies in-between waves, not unlike what you might observe in a game similar Killing Flooring. All weapons from the story mode are unlockable in The Trial, then if y'all never collected enough junk to put together 1 of the many awesome weapons available, at present is your time to polish.
We loved The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners when it came out on the PC earlier this year, and its debut on the PlayStation VR (PSVR) in May opened upwards the haunting world to millions of boosted players. Skydance Interactive is hard at work on the Oculus Quest version of the game, which is nonetheless scheduled to debut subsequently this twelvemonth. The Meatgrinder Update follows the trend of games that debuted with a rich and detailed story style, only to pull players dorsum in months later with a make new arcade-style mode.
